Markham, Ont. – December 01, 2014 – Pathway Communications, one of Canada’s leading Internet Service Providers, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the ISO 27001 certification, the International standard for the measurement of information security.Having already obtained the SOC 2 Type II, CSAE 3416 Type II and SSAE 16 Type II certifications in 2013, Pathway has now passed all the requirements of the internationally recognized ISO 27001 standard and has been awarded this seal. ISO 27001 is the highest ISO standard for data security and can only be obtained after all processes and controls for the management of information security have been audited, measured and confirmed to have met the required standards.
